Our goal is to provide complete representation in limited practice areas to individuals, businesses and municipalities. By focusing our practice, we have accumulated a depth of experience usually found only in large firms without forfeiting the personal involvement of our attorneys. We pride ourselves on assuring that clients' needs are addressed by lawyers. Your problems and questions are never diverted to secretaries or paralegals.

Central New Jersey Probate Administration & Estate Planning

Estate Planning and Administration | Probate Administration | Will Contests | Fiduciary Disputes | Objections to Accounting

If you have been named executor, administrator or personal representative of the estate of a decedent, you may be uncertain of your responsibilities. You want an experienced attorney to guide you through the process so that you protect your rights and successfully distribute the property pursuant to a decedent’s wishes.

At the Accisano Law Offices, we have protected the rights of individuals and businesses across central New Jersey for more than 40 years. We offer comprehensive counsel to our clients, focusing our practice on highly specific areas of the law. This focus has allowed us to develop the breadth of knowledge and experience you commonly associate with a large law firm in a small law office setting. We are committed to providing a high level of personal service — your important questions will always be answered by one of our attorneys, not by a paralegal or a secretary.

Because we concentrate our practice on a few select areas of the law, we can quickly review the facts and circumstances of your case and give you an accurate and thorough evaluation. To set up a meeting, contact our office by e-mail or call us at 732-462-5770 for an appointment.

Our Estate Administration and Probate Practice

We work closely with executors, administrators and personal representatives, helping you take the right steps to successfully settle the estate of the decedent. We will prepare and file all the necessary documentation to initiate and complete the process, including all paperwork necessary to get you appointed as fiduciary of the estate. We will also be your advocate in all hearings or proceedings with the probate court.

Our attorneys will help you complete all the requirements of the probate process, assisting you with:

  • The preparation and submission of an accounting of the assets of the estate
  • The notification of all creditors or others with a potential interest in the estate
  • The valuation of estate assets, if necessary
  • The payment of all final debts of the estate
  • The preparation, filing and payment of all taxes of the estate
  • The orderly distribution of all property in accordance with the terms of the will
  • The filing of the necessary papers to discharge you from your obligations

Our lawyers also represent parties in litigation arising out of the estate and probate administration process. We handle will contests and disputes regarding the performance of duties by executors or administrators, and objections to the accounting of assets.
